I love felting, particularly Nuno felting which is an innovative Japanese felting technique that combines wool and fabric. This type of felt is made by hand attaching very fine wool fibers to silk. The resulting felt is light weight and has excellent drape and flexibility. It combines the lightness of silk with the warmth and funkiness of unspun wool. As well as felt I love shibori, but FELT comes FIRST Joy Ivill

Today i bought an old French leather suitcase
tonight i'm going to stencil "feltfirst" on it and take it to market. I'm also making a bag
out of Belgian linen, i intend to stencil www.feltfirst.com on it and take both of these pieces
to the market stuffed full of my wraps.

Shibori i.e. three dimensional hand dyed wraps
I'm making some shibori wraps for the market this week to be worn with large pins that i will acquire tomorrow. Also making up kits to sell along with instructions - many people wanted to know how to make scarves and wraps themselves.
